Our Day of Green

I got really sick again on Monday and Tuesday, so we didn't make it to our preschool St. Patrick's Day party. I felt bad for Wesley. He was such a good sport for me during the 2 days of being shut in. I thought we needed a special day together. Thanks to my good friend I got a bunch of ideas to make for a fun day with Wes.
We had fun turning our German Pancakes green until it was time to eat them...Wesley was so excited while we were making them, I even re-explained how we made them, but yet he still wouldn't touch them. German Pancakes are usually his favorite and he even put the green drops in, yet this is how the plate sat until lunch time when I finally gave in and made him a sandwich. The joys of parenthood! We made a sack to put our green things in. When we got to the park we searched for all the green things we could find. I realized I should have taken a picture of the treasures because we had everything from clovers to the outside of a tennis ball. Amazing what you can find at the park!We also found a red ladybug that we had fun playing with for the longest time.
We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Wesley is so funny! I guess he is not into food coloring. What a cute idea to go on a green walk. Miss ya and sorry you haven't been feeling good. That is no fun.
